i love woolacombe.i go every year, more than once. i arranged for me and 14 of my mates to go down at the beginning of june, i've been to lots of campsites in devon, and we have friends wiv a few flats down there, some of us used a flat, but the rest of us wanted to go in a campsite.in the original campsite i go to they don't allow young adults (22-25), and i was just about to give up, when i remembered there was this new campsite i drive past every visit, and always wondered what it was like, so i looked it up on the web, and it was spot on. it is perfect atmosphere when u r there, we made the most of the happy hour, and the cooked breakfast in the morning. it is a young campsite, not family orientated. we stayed in a 9birth surf cabin, our first impression was wow this is tiny but we had such a laugh and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.considering the space we all got on so well. it's great if you don't mind slumming it for a few days. we are booking up again for august. and i can't wait and neither can everyone else. thanx europa for meeting our needs.
I stayed at the Europa Park in the month of May. Me and my 4 peers decided to camp at Europa Park due to the great prices offered within our limited budget. We arrived at the park and entered the main reception and were checked in and directed to a site to set up camp. The location we set up camp was a good one with a pleasant view over the bay. The facilities on the site were at a good standard. The shower block was basic but met our needs to satisfaction. The only drawbacks which come to mind of the shower block is that when showering expect everything to get wet and if you enjoy brushing your teeth with warm water you're in luck. The main building incorporates the reception, the bar, the amusements and pool in one. The bar area is well set out with plenty of seating and areas to socialise. The prices are acceptable and 'happy hour' was much appreciated and used every night of our stay. The amusement room had a small selection of arcade games and was fairly enjoyable. We used the indoor pool mostly every day and it was nice and refreshing after a day out in the sun. A downside was that to get to the pool we had to walk through the bar and amusements and this was not the best experience when wet. Overall, our stay at Europa Park was enjoyable and better than what we expected. I would personally recommend the park for any people wanting to stay in the area. As a group we only camped and did not use the other accommodation on site so I am not in a position to comment on the accommodation the park provides. All I can say that the camping experience was good and I would not hesitate to return.
What a fantastic place to stay. I looked everywhere for a campsite that would take a group of young adults (24 - 29yrs) for the long weekend and just before giving up hope I found this site on the internet. From the minute I contacted them everything was easy. We managed to book a static caravan for the bank holiday at the last minute and didn't have to pay the earth. Although the rooms were rather small the accommodation was excellent. The facilities on site were also very good. The bar is reasonable (better at happy hour), the food and entertainment was all top notch. The views and layout of the site also make this park an excellent place to stay. Although the toilets got a bit siff at times, it was nothing too bad. The only suggestion I have would be to empty the garbage areas more as they were over flowing by the time we left. Despite hearing horror stories about chavs and rowdy stag / hens nights, the other guests actually seemed classy and very well behaved. We had no problems or complaints. Some of the revellers in the club house seemed under age at time, but who can blame them for trying to have a good time!!!Overall, I would suggest this park to any young group of people looking for good clean fun in one convenient place.
